Terms of Service

Last updated: April 24, 2026. These terms govern use of the current StreamPixels preview by both viewers and creators.

1. What StreamPixels is

StreamPixels is a browser-source-first stream overlay service with viewer profiles, creator tools, account linking, and provider-native Twitch and YouTube ingest. The current service is still a preview, which means features, data models, and operational behavior may change while the rebuild continues.

2. Accounts and eligibility

  • You may use StreamPixels only if you are legally allowed to use the service and any accounts you connect through it.
  • Audience members are responsible for the Twitch or YouTube accounts they use to claim or link a viewer profile.
  • Creators are responsible for the Twitch or YouTube channels they authorize for creator-side ingest.
  • Creator access is invite-based and role-based. Viewer sign-in, creator membership, and operator access are separate permission layers.

3. Third-party platforms

  • If you connect Twitch, YouTube, or Google, you authorize StreamPixels to use the permissions you approve to operate the requested feature set.
  • You must have the right to connect and use the relevant account, channel, stream, and associated data.
  • Your use of connected provider features must also comply with that provider's own terms, policies, and API rules.
  • StreamPixels may stop, limit, or change an integration if a provider changes its APIs, scopes, policies, or enforcement posture.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use StreamPixels to:

  • Break the law, violate platform terms, or interfere with the rights of other users.
  • Abuse APIs, scrape data beyond authorized use, bypass access controls, or interfere with the service.
  • Attempt to access another viewer's or creator's data, tokens, memberships, or runtime state without authorization.
  • Use the service to distribute malware, spam, fraud, or abusive automated behavior.

5. Content, data, and availability

  • You keep ownership of your own content and connected accounts, but you grant StreamPixels the limited rights needed to process that data to operate the service you requested.
  • StreamPixels may ingest, transform, store, and display provider events, profile data, and creator configuration needed for overlay behavior, account features, and diagnostics.
  • The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Preview software breaks in ways that are occasionally creative and often rude. We do not promise uninterrupted uptime or permanent feature stability.

6. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe it is necessary to protect the service, comply with law, respond to provider requirements, address abuse, or reduce operational risk. You may stop using StreamPixels at any time. Creator-side Twitch and YouTube connectors can also be disconnected from the admin console.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as StreamPixels evolves. When we do, we will publish the revised version here and update the effective date at the top of the page. Continued use of the service after the update means you accept the revised terms.
